Chiropractic Adjustment

Dr. Garrett performs a manual spinal adjustment that treats back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal conditions via the application of force to the spinal joints. This treatment of dysfunctional areas in the spine can restore the spine’s structural integrity, reduce pain and initiate the body’s natural healing processes.

Dr. Garrett uses a variety of manual adjusting techniques depending on the condition of the patient. The goals of chiropractic care is to locate “nerve interference”.

When the spine has lost it’s normal position, it also loses the motion which over time will lead to degeneration of the joint and lead to disc problems.

Medical Massage

Medical massage therapy is performed as part of a healthcare provider’s overall treatment plan, so the massage therapy is typically concentrated on a specific medical diagnosis. The exact techniques and procedures that are used during this type of massage will vary for each patient. However, the massage will typically be centralized on the parts of the body that have been identified as an area of concern. Instead of massaging the entire body, medical massage therapy tends to focus on a particular area.
