Your First Visit to Our Tempe Practice

You’ll be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

Our office is conveniently located in the heart Tempe.  When you arrive you can expect to be greeted by name and given a warm welcome along with instructions to get your first chiropractic experience started.  We know how it feels to be the "new kid in town", so it's our goal to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

If you’ve already completed your admitting paperwork, which you can download by clicking here, great!  If not, it only takes a few minuets to complete here in the office.  After successfully completing the paperwork- it's time to meet and visit with Dr. Garrett.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic care is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.  Dr. Garrett uses Surface EMG to evaluate the motor nerves and x-rays to evaluate the structure that protects the nerve system. Along with these diagnostic tests, Dr. Garrett will also do a physical examination to evaluate posture, range of motion, trigger points, and muscle spasms

Tempe chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Jim Asks some important questions of interest to Tempe residents - Chiropractor Tempe Dr. Jim Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
