Your Second Visit to Our Tempe Practice

Tempe- area chiropractic patients appreciate we explain things first.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, Dr. Garrett will make recommendations designed to help you get and keep optimal health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually attended to on your second visit. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

After you have had a successful Report of Findings with Dr. Garrett, our friendly staff at the front desk will let you know how to participate in our office.  We know how important it is  to live a long healthy life, so we make it possible for everyone to participate in doing that.

Dr. Jim Asks some important questions of interest to Tempe residents - Chiropractor Tempe Dr. Jim Asks...

What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Tempe office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
